Dr. Stanley McCallon is an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy and Assistant Dean of Clinical Affairs. He earned his Bachelor’s of Physical Therapy in 1996, a Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2005 and his terminal Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2008. All degrees were conferred by Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Dr. McCallon’s education interest include clinical education with emphasis on preventative medicine, wound management and business administration. His research interests have included clinical applications for negative pressure wound therapy, pressure ulcer prevention and management, as well as debridement techniques. His scholarly work has appeared in print in peer reviewed journals, book chapters and he has presented at national meetings on many of his topics of interest. Dr. McCallon has over 23 years of clinical experience in various care settings and currently manages a large outpatient clinical enterprise which offers PT, OT, ST and Behavioral Health services to clients of all ages.
