Madeline Barclay is the Director of Admissions at the LSU Health Shreveport School of Allied Health Professions. She manages the School’s admission and recruitment processes and facilitates new student orientation. Her goal is to connect students in Louisiana with degree programs that lead to rewarding positions in the healthcare workforce. In addition to her administrative role, she serves as Instructor in the Master of Public Health program, a joint degree offered by LSU Shreveport and LSU Health Shreveport. She co-teaches the Public Health Leadership and Ethics course which seeks to impart leadership theory and ethics as they relate to real-life public health issues while connecting students with established health leaders in the Shreveport-Bossier community. Madeline also assists in management of the Public Health Internship and Seminar courses.
Madeline earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Centenary College of Louisiana in 2013 and a Master in Public Health from LSU Shreveport/LSU Health Shreveport in 2015.
