About the program:
Many clinicians are sometimes confused about what Radiology has to offer them for the work-up of their patients. Following this course, the participant should better understand the different radiologic studies available to them for working up conditions covered in this conference. The should improve patient outcomes, help lower medical costs for unnecessary exams ordered, and potentially help lower the radiation doses to the patient.
Target Audience:
The target audience for this activity includes primary care clinicians (Ex. Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Physician Assistants), Residents, Medical and PA students, Nurse Practitioners, and other healthcare providers.
Accreditation:
Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 4.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
