Dr. Mina Wilson graduated Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in 2012.

Chief Resident- Education

Dr. Rhiju Poudel completed her medical school from Xiangya school of Medicine in Hunan, China.  She is from Nepal and worked as medical officer for 2 years after medical school.

Dr. Pratyusha Reddy Gudipally was born and raised in India. After completing her medical school in Santhiram Medical College India, she pursued her career in Family medicine at UH Conway in the year 2017.

Dr. Rupa Koothirezhi was born and raised in India. She did her medical school training at Medical college, Thrissur and trained In pulmonary medicine from Goa Medical College. She worked as a pulmonologist before moving to United States.

Dr. Trinath Kuruvella is originally from Khammam, India, and completed his medical education at Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences.

Dr. Praseeda Moleyar is a graduate from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Health Sciences, India with a post graduate degree in dermatology.

Dr. Shami Nandy was born and raised in a small coastal city called Chittagong, in Bangladesh. She graduated from Dhaka Medical College in Bangladesh and later moved to United States.


Dr. Swetha Balli is from India, and completed her medical education at Chalmeda Anand Rao Institute of Medical Sciences.

Dr. Obioma Ilouga (“Obi”) is originally from Enugu, Nigeria and attended Nnamdi Azikiwe University College of Health Sciences in Abnambra State, Nigeria.  He has since obtained his MPH degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center.

Dr. Avilasha Jha calls Kathmandu, Nepal her hometown, and graduated from the Nepal Medical College Teaching Hospital. 

Dr. Sylvester Yari Mapoh is from Cameroon and completed his medical education at the University of Buea, Faculty of Health Sciences. 

Dr. Bhavani Merugu is from Hyderabad, India and received her medical education there at Osmania Medical College, Koti.

Dr. Phi Nguyen was born in Vietnam, spent his high school and college years in California, and completed his advanced education in New Orleans.  Phi obtained his Masters Degree in Genetics at Tulane University and subsequently his MD at LSU Health Shreveport.

Dr. Niruban Nirthananthan is originally from Montreal, Quebec, Canada and grew up in the Greater Toronto area.  He attended Windsor University School of Medicine, and completed his clinical rotations in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Sultan Shah Rehmanny is from Karachi, Pakistan.  He completed medical school at the University of Szeged.

Dr. Vrishali Suman was born in Mumbai, India and grew up in Toronto, Canada.  She has an Honors BSc in Life Sciences from McMaster University and her MD from Saba University School of Medicine.

Dr. Sangita Yadav is originally from India and finished medical school at Indira Gandhi Government Medical College in Nagpur.


 Dr. Leticia Antunes is a native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and completed her medical education at Universidade Federal de Sao Carlos.  She is the first member of her family to pursue a career in medicine, and was one of the youngest students in her college class to gain entrance to her medical school.  Her hobbies include singing, reading (favorite authors include Kurt Vonnegut and Charles Bukowski), and soccer.

Dr. Anmol Chaudhary was born in Kathmandu Nepal, and completed his medical education at Kathmandu Medical College.  He has numerous presentations and publications to his credit including an article on Hypercalcemia due to mild alkali syndrome.  His hobbies include trekking (he has completed the Annapurna Circuit), soccer, and cooking.


Dr. Ahmad Omairi was born in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada.  He attended medical school at the University of Debrecen Medical School and Health Science Centre in Hungary.  His MD thesis was a review of the practical aspects of therapeutic hypothermia and its effect on neurological outcomes and mortality rates following resuscitation from cardiac arrest.  His hobbies include weightlifting, basketball, reading (non-medical books as often as possible) and traveling.

Dr. Ihianle Edgar Osagie was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and completed medical school at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos.  He became drawn to Family Medicine as a student, enjoying the vast scope of practice and the potential for lifelong relationships with patients.  Dr. Osagie’s hobbies include traveling, politics, sports and music. 

Dr. Bikash Poudel was born in Damak, Nepal, and finished medical school at B. P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.  He attributes his appreciation of teamwork and organization to participation in United Nations partner organizations caring for refugees in Nepal.  Dr. Poudel is a self-described sports fanatic and enjoys cricket, tennis, and soccer (talk to him about FC Barcelona).  He also enjoys trekking famous trails.

Dr. Rashmi Sharma was born and raised in Nepal and went to Kathmandu Medical College for her medical training. She has a Master’s degree in International Health from the Swiss tropical institute, Basel, Switzerland and has completed a two-year fellowship in Disaster Medicine and Emergency preparedness at the Warren Alpert Medical School, Brown University in 2018. She is also a fellow at the Center for Human rights and Humanitarian studies at the Watson institute for International and public affairs at Brown University.

She worked as a field doctor with MSF (Medecins Sans Frontiers) in South Sudan, Somali region, Ethiopia, and Nigeria. She was awarded the “Humanitarian Service Award” by the society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) in 2015 for her work in East Africa.

Apart from medicine, Dr Sharma's hobbies include reading, hiking, dancing, having long soulful conversations with her close friends and planning her next adventure trip. She considers climbing Kilimanjaro and hiking up to Everest base camp solo to be among her top-most accomplishments and hopes to incorporate her training in primary care to go on more adventures, help more people and live a more impactful life in the future.

Dr. Sanjay Shrestha was born in Butwal, Nepal, and graduated from Nepal Medical College, where he received the highest scores in his class for Pathology and Community Medicine.  Immediately following his graduation, he volunteered to help with medical relief efforts following the devastating earthquake that struck Nepal in 2015.  His hobbies include trekking, cycling, football, cricket, and meeting new people.

Dr. Kanika Sood was born in Moga, Punjab, India.  She completed her medical education at Government Medical College Amritsar.  She has research experience involving a Phase III clinical drug trial, in which she participated as a coordinator.  Dr. Sood also has multiple publications and presentations to her credit.  She has received awards from the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA) in 2016 and 2018, and the National Psoriatic Foundation Research Fellowship Award in 2017.  Her hobbies include dancing, yoga, pets and adventurous trips.
