The primary mission of the LSU Health Shreveport Health Sciences Library is to educate users to employ the skills and knowledge needed to effectively utilize biomedical information resources in support of the institution’s mission to teach, heal, and discover. The Library also serves as a resource for the community beyond LSU Health Shreveport, providing understandable health information for non-health professionals.
