Assistant Professor of Molecular and Cellular Physiology
Diana Cruz-Topete earned her B.S. degree in Chemistry-Pharmacy-Biology from Universidad de Las Americas-Puebla, Mexico in 2002. After graduation, she pursued her graduate studies at the University of Notre Dame-Indiana, where she was awarded her Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry in 2008. Following graduate school, Dr. Cruz-Topete received her postdoctoral training at Ohio University and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. Dr. Cruz-Topete joined the Department of Molecular and Cellular Physiology at LSUHSC as an assistant professor in 2016.
