Jillian Danzy, BS, RRT, CPFT

Instructor of Cardiopulmonary Science

Jillian Danzy is an instructor in the Cardiopulmonary Science program at Louisiana State University Health School of Allied Health Professions in Shreveport. She earned her B.S. in Cardiopulmonary Science from Louisiana State University Health School of Allied Health Professions in Shreveport and she is currently enrolled as a graduate student in the Master of Public Health program at Louisiana State University in Shreveport/Louisiana State University Health School of Allied Health Professions in Shreveport. Jillian’s research interests involve patient and caregiver education, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary functions testing (PFT), and cardiopulmonary rehab. She teaches Cardiopulmonary Physiology, Cardiopulmonary Diagnostics, and Cardiopulmonary Rehab & Home Care. Jillian currently serves as Secretary for the Louisiana Society of Respiratory Care (LSRC). Prior to academia, Jillian worked in the hospital, out-patient clinic, and long-term acute care settings.
