A Message from the Dean

It appears that fall weather is finally trying to make its appearance in Shreveport and we welcome it with open arms. Students are a little past the mid-point of the semester and are looking forward to some down time around Thanksgiving. Before that however, they must quickly plan their Halloween attire in hopes of taking first place in our annual costume contest. We always look forward to the unique designs they seem to concoct.

This is also the time of year that our Admission’s Office becomes very active. We have been visiting campuses around the state as we try to recruit the best and brightest to our programs. The admissions interview process is also underway for students hoping to gain admittance in May of 2017. In like manner, programs are busy setting up interview dates for the prospective candidates. We wish all applicants success as they strive to achieve their professional goals and look forward to welcoming a new cohort next year.
