A Message from the Dean

Those of you who were not able to attend our annual fundraising event, “Painting with a Purpose,” really missed an incredible evening. Artists from around the community, our own School and even from out of town, put on quite a show. Doctor of Physical Therapy student Rebekah Gueho, took first place honors in most money bid for her painting as well as the People’s Choice award for crowd favorite. She painted an off-shore oil rig representing the people from around Nichols State University. Great deals were also found in our silent auction. Hopefully, you can join us for our 2018 event.

We are now on to the next big happening in the School, August graduation. Another cohort of students is anxiously awaiting the big day, August 12th. This is the official graduation for our School and includes programs that don’t graduate with the Medical School in May.

Following graduation is Family Day, October 7th. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring families of our first year students to campus. They get to have a firsthand experience of a day in the life of their loved one. We look forward to seeing everyone at these events.
