Allied Health Professions
A Message from the Dean
Greetings and welcome to the School of Allied Health Professions. While the summer months may be a slow time for many, nothing is further from the truth here at the Health Sciences Center. Our newly admitted first year students are busy with basic science and introductory courses, while many of the upper level students are off on clinical and fieldwork experiences around the city, state, and country.
In addition to the rigors of education, we always make sure to keep a healthy balance. On August 27, 2016, we again host our annual Alumni Golf Scramble which will be held at Crooked Hollow Golf Club. Four person teams will have an 8:30 shot-gun start and will compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place as well as have a chance to win men’s and women’s longest drive and closest to the hole. This is always a popular event that brings many of our alumni back to town and helps to raise money for our alumni scholarship fund.
Registration for the event can be made by simply clicking on the event title below. We look forward to seeing you, your family, and your friends at this exciting activity.
