Bachelor of Science (B.S.) of Biological Sciences, Clinical Laboratory, Medical Technology or related field.   


Master’s degree in Biological Sciences from an accredited program or Master’s degree in Computer Systems Technology with a focus on Biomedical Informatics from an accredited program.


The incumbent will be responsible for providing genomic services to the FWCC for Precision Medicine-Genomics Laboratory.  The incumbent will be performing assays on the Illumina genome sequencer, responsible for sample acquisition and preparation,  preparing genomic libraries preparation for the assay,  running the sequencing assay, preparing and submitting the data for analysis at the bioinformatics center, assist in maintaining the equipment,  keeping accurate logs/records of all tests and performing any needed quality control,  assist with the CLIA application and maintaining all SOPS and laboratory records for certification.
