Job Summary:

The Witt Laboratory at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport is seeking a highly motivated and qualified postdoctoral researcher to work in the field of neurobiology.   The candidate is also expected to help train graduate students.  The focus of the position is to study the function of the Parkinson's disease protein alpha-synuclein in patient-derived induced pluripotent stem cell models. Experience with such cells is required, as well as experience with gene knock down techniques.
