Minimum Qualifications:

D.V.M., M.D., Pharm. D., or Ph.D. in a biomedical science field. Candidates with a background in cardiovascular surgery and cell signaling are particularly encouraged to apply. English competency is required.

Job Summary:

A Postdoctoral Fellow position in Cellular Biology and Anatomy is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Manikandan Panchatcharam in the Department of Cellular Biology and Anatomy at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. The fellow will conduct research aimed at elucidating the molecular mechanism of lysophosphatidic acid regulation in the myocardium. Applicants are expected to have a strong background in cardiovascular surgery, molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry or related fields. Experience in cell signaling is desirable but not required.
