Education is a top priority for the LSU Health Department of Radiology. We offer a diverse environment in which medical students, residents, fellows, physician assistants, technologists and related scientists learn diagnostic and interventional radiology. Our goal is to provide challenging and comprehensive educational opportunities that reflect the most current state of knowledge.

Our deep commitment to providing an outstanding educational experience for our trainees guides all aspects of our teaching programs. The LSU Health Department of Radiology leadership is passionate about resident education and takes enormous pride in the accomplishments of our trainees and graduates.

Members of the department hold national radiology education leadership positions in specialty/subspecialty organizations. We constantly look for ways to improve the educational experience of our residents and rely upon them for input. The leaders of the department maintain an open door policy. Through the chief residents’ involvement on the department’s education committee and routine resident meetings with the Program Director and Chairman, the residents’ recommendations form the basis for many of the changes we have made and will continue to make to improve our educational programs.

We invite you to browse our webpages to learn more about the educational opportunities available at LSU Health Shreveport Department of Radiology.
