Children's Hospital

The LSUHSC-Shreveport Children's Hospital is a primary and tertiary acute care facility dedicated to the health and well-being of children in the Ark-La-Tex area. Established in 1996, the Children's Hospital was designated a "hospital within a hospital". 

Physically located within the University Hospital, the Children's Hospital serves as the pediatric teaching hospital of LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Shreveport. 

Our Children's Hospital is affiliated with St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. This affiliation brings pediatric oncology services to children in the Ark-La-Tex area.
