Frequently Asked Questions
How long will I have to wait to be seen?
Our goal is to make sure each patient is seen promptly. Our Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons typically devote specific days each week in clinic because they also manage treatment programs, perform surgeries, and teach. For this reason, please allow 1-2 hours for your appointment, especially if unscheduled emergencies delay the doctor.

How long will my clinic appointment take?
Please allow anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours for your appointment. We recommend that you do not make any other appointment in this time. Every effort will be made to see you on time, however the OMFS service is part of a busy public teaching hospital, and unplanned demands on medical staff can occur causing possible delays.
