Departmental Organization

To meet our educational objectives, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is organized around four main divisions: Gynecology and Urodynamics, High-Risk Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility.

The following is a description of the goals and scope of the various sections in the department.

We have as a major goal to turn out well educated and confident pelvic surgeons. Our residents gain extensive experience in the operating room as the primary surgeon operating under the supervision of faculty who are committed to resident education and quality patient care. Our program benefits greatly by being responsible for providing care to a large number of patients with extensive and diverse gynecologic pathology.
