Our Mission

"In fulfilling its educational mission, the LSU Hospital in Shreveport provides graduate medical education programs for physicians in specialty training and serves as a primary site for clinical education programs for the medical students and allied health students of LSU Health Sciences Center. Similarly, the hospital is active in both continuing education programs for practicing physicians and research, essential elements in accomplishing its mission.
