LSU Health Shreveport provides wireless access via multiple wireless networks.
LSUHealth-Public-Wifi - intended for patients and short-term visitors and requires logging in through a web page with an email address for a 30 minute internet-only session
LSUHEALTH - intended for students, staff and faculty and requires a lsuhsc.edu email address for access to the internet and local resources.
Previously deprecated networks were:
LSUHSCS - replaced by LSUHEALTH
LibStudent - replaced by LSUHealth-Public-Wifi
LSUHSC - replaced by LSUHSCS
Please note, the new LSUHSCS wireless network should not require installation of a certificate. Please select the appropriate instructions below for your operating system. If the instructions recommend that you install the new certificate, please come back and download the correct certificate at that time.
The new LSUHEALTH wireless network requires support for WPA2 security and AES encryption.

LSUHEALTH Smartphone /Mobile Device Configuration

Due to the diversity in mobile devices and operating systems, these instructions may not work on every device in these groups. iPhone & iPad users: It is recommended to Forget this Network on the LSUHealth-Public-Wifi network if your device is connecting to LSUHealth-Public-Wifi instead of LSUHEALTH by default. You may still connect manually to LSUHealth-Public-Wifi, if necessary. To do this, click on the blue arrow to the right of LSUHealth-Public-Wifi and click Forget this Network at the top.
- Click on the LSUHEALTH network.
- Click Configure.
- For EAP Method, select PEAP.
- For Phase 2 Authentication, select MSCHAPv2.
- For Identity, enter your username as lsumc-master\username.
- Enter your password in the Password field.
- Leave all other fields as they are.
- Click Connect.
