Welcome to the web site of the Section of Endocrinology & Metabolism at LSU Health Shreveport. Our section provides care in the hospitals and clinics at the Louisiana State University Hospital and at the Overton-Brooks Veterans Administration Medical Center. We provide our community and our state with expert subspecialty care, research, and teaching embracing the full spectrum of endocrine conditions. These include all types of diabetes, thyroid diseases and thyroid cancer, pituitary tumors, hyperparathyroidism, adrenal disorders, lipid disorders, inherited endocrine syndromes, diseases of bone, and more. This site has been created to provide information for staff, patients, students, and visitors, including physicians interested in applying for a fellowship position in our program.
