Volunteer Services Program
LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport has a large number of volunteers that help in the Health Sciences Center in many ways. Volunteers help by rocking babies, reading to children, teaching sewing to long-term patients, cancer patient art program, delivering books, magazines, and snacks, and helping in many other ways. Our volunteers truly help us carry out the patient care segment of our mission by allowing us to provide quality healthcare services with compassionate and personal services.
