The Medical Alumni Association of the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center at Shreveport provides programs and services to alumni, students, faculty, and friends of the Health Sciences Center. Our activities include:
- Maintenance of a database to keep alumni in touch with their classmates; see who’s lost
- Production of the biannual newsletter, Medical Alumni News
- Organize annual Reunions to include CME conferences
- Fund Raise to medical school initiatives; Make a gift
- Play an integral role in the growth and development of the institution
- Communicate with alumni through newsletters, mailings and a website
- Organize projects for students
